Tuition includes most activities.

A non-refundable $75 deposit is required to hold a spot on the waiting list. The deposit will be credited toward the $150 registration fee once a spot is open and accepted. Once a spot becomes available, we'll notify you and you'll have first right of refusal. Passing on a spot does not affect your place on the list.

Hours of Operation

Our doors are open Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 5:30pm.

Our standard contracted school day is 8:00am – 4:00pm.

Before care (7:30–8:00am) and after care (4:00–5:30pm) are available as contracted add-ons and billed as part of your monthly tuition.

The Infant Toddler classroom hours are 8:00am – 4:30pm and does not have the option of before or after care.

Enrollment Schedule Options

Origins accepts full-time and part-time enrollment. Full-time spots are filled first. Part-time enrollment is only available if space remains after all full-time requests are placed.

Full Time is 5 full days per week. Anything less is considered Part Time.

Enrollment Contracts & Tuition

Origins Tuition is based on our daily rates. The school days for the year are added up with the non-federal closures taken out and then divided by 12 months for a static tuition rate based on the number of days per week. Tuition is due in full, in advance, at the first of the month.

"Contracted" means you choose the days and times for your child's schedule and those slots are guaranteed and held for your child. You will be billed for contracted days regardless of whether your child attends. A 60-day notice is required to change or end a contract.

Sibling Discount:

A 10% discount applies to the lesser tuition on full-time contracts with two or more siblings. Any additional children receive a 5% discount. This applies to full-time enrollments only. Part-time contracts with siblings on identical schedules receive a 5% discount on the second and subsequent children's tuition.

Origins accepts families served by the Best Beginnings Scholarship. You are responsible for the difference between our daily rate and the state rate, as well as registration fees, deposits, and your monthly co-pay. Tuition is billed at a static monthly rate which is calculated using the below daily rates multiplied by the number of school days for the current school year, (minus non-federal holidays) and divided by the number of days per week contracted.

We strive continually to be able to pay our staff the highest wages we can plus benefits for full time leads and management. We are also have a sliding scale tuition application upon request.

Children are placed in schools based on their birthdate. If a child is moved up in a class early, they will pay the tuition for the class they should be in based on their birthday until the new school year starts. Click HERE to see our age-based classroom placements.

There is a non-refundable $150 registration fee that will be billed before or with the first month’s tuition. If you paid the waiting list fee of $75 it will show as a credit towards the registration and the total due will be the remaining $75. If the deposit was not paid previously, the full $150 will be due.

Contracted Full Day Rates (up to 8 hrs) 

(Note for Best Beginnings Scholarship (BBS) Recipients:

There is a significant gap between our actual tuition rates and the amount covered by the state scholarship. Because of our high costs, such as serving organic food and maintaining low teacher-to-child ratios, we are not able to absorb this difference.

BBS families are required to pay a small flat rate in addition to their co-pay. This amount ranges from $15 to $22 per day, depending on your child’s age group. This is less than the actual difference, and it goes towards offering the level of care Origins is known for.)

Before & After Care

Before Care (7:30–8:00am): $5 per contracted day

After Care (4:00–5:30pm): $10 per contracted day

Families may add before care, after care, or both depending on their needs. Before and after care are contracted add-ons that must match your regular contracted days. For example: full-time families contract for 5 days, three-day families for 3 days, and so on. Extended care is billed as part of your monthly tuition.

*In addition to birthday qualifications, children in the IT class must be taking only one nap per day, after lunch. Toddlers who still require multiple naps cannot be accommodated in our small classroom. Children in the EL class must be ready to actively potty train, be in pull-ups not diapers, and able to sit on the potty without fear. Children in Jr and Sr classes must be potty trained and in underwear.
